NEUES LIED is a festival for art song with a focus on contemporary music founded by Esthea Kruger in Würzburg, Germany in 2018, and established in Cape Town in 2022. The second edition of the festival in Cape Town – consisting of concerts, masterclasses and a competition for young art song duos – will take place from 12 to 16 September 2023.
